CHAIRMAN

Air Marshal (retd) Greg Bagwell joined ASG Aerospace as Chairman in June 2026, bringing over three decades of operational leadership from a distinguished career in the Royal Air Force. He served for 36 years, retiring in 2016 as Deputy Commander RAF, having flown as a combat pilot on the Tornado GR1/4 and the CF-18 Hornet for the first 20 years of his career.

Since leaving the RAF, Greg has held senior roles at Cobham, AirTanker, and Ultra Electronics, and has been a non-executive member of the NATS board since 2022. He brings deep knowledge of the aerospace and defence sectors alongside a strong network across industry, government, and UK defence.

CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Simon Weston is Chief Executive Officer at ASG Aerospace, responsible for the group's strategic direction and the performance of its manufacturing sites across the UK and Germany. He leads the organisation through a period of significant growth, with a clear focus on strengthening capability, deepening customer relationships, and building long-term resilience across the business. Simon's career has been built entirely within the aerospace and advanced manufacturing sector, with earlier roles at Hyde Aero Products and Hyde Precision Components before joining ASG Aerospace. He holds an MSc in Manufacturing Leadership from Lancaster University and is a vocal advocate for the UK aerospace supply chain, regularly contributing to industry debate on investment, innovation, and the opportunities facing manufacturers as production rates rise across the sector.

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Jamie MacKenzie is Chief Financial Officer at ASG Aerospace, responsible for the financial performance and governance of the group across its UK and German operations. A Chartered Management Accountant, he brings rigorous financial discipline to a business operating across multiple sites and serving some of the world's most demanding industries. Within the ASG Aerospace senior leadership team, Jamie oversees financial reporting, planning, and control, ensuring the group has the visibility and structure needed to support its continued investment and growth. His role is central to maintaining the financial resilience that underpins ASG Aerospace's ability to perform as a trusted, long-term supply chain partner.

DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS

Gareth Richards is Director of Operations at ASG Aerospace, responsible for operational performance across the group's UK and German sites. Working at the intersection of strategy and production, he plays a central role in translating ASG's ambitions into day-to-day manufacturing reality. His focus spans efficiency, capacity and continuous improvement, ensuring the group's collective capability is deployed to its full potential as ASG grows and evolves. With seven specialist businesses operating under one group, Gareth's role is pivotal in ensuring that shared standards and complementary strengths work in practice as well as in principle. 

Gareth works closely with site leadership teams across the group, supporting the drive towards integrated, high-performance manufacturing that meets the expectations of ASG's customers in aerospace, defence, semiconductors and scientific markets. 

MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS DIRECTOR

Mandy Ridyard is Director of Marketing and Communications at ASG Aerospace, shaping the group's brand, communications, and external presence across its UK and German operations. Her career is grounded in commercial and marketing leadership, with experience at Mars and RHM before moving into aerospace manufacturing, where she co-founded ASG Produmax in Bradford in 1997 before it became part of ASG Aerospace in 2023.

Beyond ASG Aerospace, Mandy chairs the West Yorkshire Business Board and sits on the ADS board. She also sits on the Manufacturing Commission, contributing to parliamentary debate on the future of UK manufacturing.

MANAGING DIRECTOR

Jason has led ASG Arrowsmith for over two decades, building the Coventry-based business into a respected specialist manufacturer of precision aeroengine components. His tenure has seen the company deepen its position within the aerospace supply chain, supporting major customers including Rolls-Royce. Within the ASG Aerospace senior leadership team, Jason contributes to group-wide programmes in manufacturing development and sustainability.

Beyond the business, Jason is an active voice in the wider aerospace community. He chairs the Coventry and Warwickshire Aerospace Forum, the Midlands Aerospace Alliance Supply Chain Performance Group, and the ADS SC21 Delivery Board, driving collaboration and raising standards across the regional and national sector.
