ASG Aerospace turns eyes to Paris

With a record-breaking Farnborough International Airshow behind it, ASG Aerospace is already looking towards the next major gathering of the global aerospace industry: the Paris Air Show in June 2027.

Farnborough 2026 brought 141,580 visitors from 136 countries together and generated more than $84.7 billion in commercial deals, underlining the confidence, investment and long-term opportunity shaping aerospace and defence.

For ASG Aerospace, the show provided a platform to launch its new Group identity, strengthen relationships with major customers and celebrate recognition from Rolls-Royce alongside SC21 awards across the Group.

Attention now turns to Paris, where many of the themes expected to shape the 2027 exhibition align closely with the priorities influencing ASG Aerospace's continued development: international competitiveness, decarbonisation, environmental responsibility and the advanced manufacturing capability required to support the next generation of aircraft.

Simon Weston, Chief Executive Officer of ASG Aerospace, said:

"Farnborough was an important week for ASG Aerospace and demonstrated the scale of opportunity across our industry. We came away with stronger relationships, valuable conversations and a very clear sense of where customers and programmes are heading.

"Paris gives the industry another opportunity to build on that momentum. Competitiveness, sustainability and manufacturing efficiency are increasingly interconnected, and that places a real emphasis on suppliers that can combine technical capability, quality, capacity and operational performance.

"Our focus between now and Paris is firmly on building on the success of Farnborough, continuing to invest across the Group and strengthening the capabilities that our customers need for the programmes ahead."

Paris 2027 will also mark a century since Charles Lindbergh completed his historic solo transatlantic flight from New York, landing at Le Bourget on 21 May 1927. The anniversary provides a fitting backdrop for an industry whose progress has continually been shaped by engineering ambition and the ability to turn new ideas into manufacturable reality.

A century later, aerospace is entering another important period of development as manufacturers pursue greater efficiency, lower emissions, new propulsion technologies and increasing production rates across civil and defence programmes.

For ASG Aerospace, the journey from Farnborough to Paris represents an opportunity to keep building: investing in people, technology and vertically integrated manufacturing capability while supporting customers as the next chapter of aerospace takes shape.
